Urania Lodge No. 311

This scholarship is for $500.00 and will be awarded in accordance with the terms set forth on this application.  The minimum requirements for this scholarship:

• Student in good standing graduating from Jonathan Alder High School Spring 2011

• Grade point average between 3.0 and 4.0 (unweighted)

• Applicant must be attending an accredited college or university as a full time student

• Applicant should provide two letters of recommendation from a non-family member

• Applicant may be requested to attend brief interview as part of selection process.  Being selected for interview does not indicate that applicant will be awarded any funds.

• Applicant has the option of submitting a cover letter or additional documentation for consideration, no more than two pages neatly hand written or typed, 12 point font double spaced.

All applications for this scholarship are due to the school guidance office by the end of school on May 6, 2011.  Payment of the scholarship will be made directly to the school or university in the students name before the end of September 2011.  Student is responsible for submitting payment information (mailing address and specific payment information) to Urania Lodge #311, P.O. Box 311, Plain City, OH  43064 by September 8, 2011.
